My Ideal Client
I've identified the type of student who is the most successful studying in Susan Anders Brizick’s Voice Studio:
School aged students who love to sing and want to improve their singing and learn about different styles of music. The most successful students want to get a part in the school musical, glee club, or school choir and want to improve the quality of their voice. Often students are embarrassed about making a mistake or feel they can’t get their voice to do what they want it to do, such as move through a transition spot in their range. Students want a teacher who can understand how they learn and help them improve week by week in a comfortable environment with out getting frustrated. Using building blocks and focused practice, students gain confidence to audition for their goal for a lead or solo.
Adult students who love to sing and want to learn to sing different styles of music and find which suits their voice best. These adults are community chorus or church choir singers, parents or young professionals who are finding time for themselves and want to develop their singing voice, or those aspiring to perform on a stage. They want a teacher who understands their maturity, both musically and personally, requires different teaching techniques. Adult students who want to build more confidence in their singing voice and themselves. Singing is not always easy. We use building blocks to help progress week by week working with their individual voice, learning style, and life experience. This helps build confidence in a comfortable environment to achieve their musical goals.
Does either of these scenarios describe you as a singer?
